The #1 cause for failure and
warranty denial is improper installation. Thats why here at Eco Select Windows we offer a Lifetime
Product and Installation guarantee.
Here is the most common
method of installation. All installations will vary from time to time. Once on site we always double check the
measurements before removing any windows. Once everything checks out we will usually follow the steps
below.
Step 1: Remove the glass and vent of existing window, then remove the meeting rail (center
post).

Step 2: Now it's time to remove
those conductive alumminum frames. What we do is collapse the frames with our frame removal specialty
tool.

Step 3: Once the frames have been
removed, we need to inspect the internal structure to make sure theres no dryrot.
Step 4: After the opeing has been
prepared for the new window, We set the window in place. After we check to make sure the windows are level, plumb,
and square, we secure the windows in place with #8 Zinc screws that are less likely to rust over
time.

Step 5: Last step is to seal the
window with Eco Bond Caulking. Final inspection is done and the install is
complete.
Install completed!!! Nice new
windows!!
